NCSO: Additional openings available to send local girls to Ky. Sheriff’s Ranch

Thursday, June 27, 2019 — The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday that the sheriff’s office has openings to send local girls ages 8 – 11 to the Kentucky Sheriff’s Boys & Girls Ranch.

The girl’s camp runs July 14-19, 2019, at the ranch in Gilbertsville, Ky., near the Land Between the Lakes. Activities include swimming, fishing, arts and crafts, sports, archery and much more.

Applications must be submitted by Monday, July 8, 2019. For more information and obtain an application, contact the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office at (502) 348-1840.
