Monday, July 22, 2019 — The Old Kentucky Home Board of Realtors and Fraternal Order of Police OKH Lodge 43 are teaming up this Saturday to collect school supplies for our county’s schoolkids as they head back to classes next month.

On Saturday, July 26th, look for Board of Realtors and FOP lodge members in the Walmart parking lot as part of “Project School Supplies.” They will accept donations of all sorts of school supplies. Look for the bus and police cruisers in the parking lot to mark the donation point. The collected supplies will be distributed to the resource coordinators of our local schools.

The groups are seeking school supplies that include: paper; glue sticks; No. 2 pencils; 24-pack crayons; blunt-tip safety scissors; pocket folders; baby wipes; index cards; rulers; blue pens; color pencils; pink erasers; 8-pack broad-tip markers; tissues; hand sanitizer; pencil boxes; spiral-bound notebooks; 1 and 2-inch binders; pocket dictionaries; highlighters; red pens; construction paper; backpacks; school uniforms; and more.
