Obituary: Nicole Leanne Smith Murray, 39, New Haven

Nicole Leanne Smith Murray, 39, of New Haven, died Monday, July 22, 2019, at her residence. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She was an employee of Metalsa in Elizabethtown. She loved horseback riding, photography and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Murray; her maternal grandfather, Shorty Gardner; her paternal grandparents; and one niece, Emma Smith.

She is survived by four daughters, Destinee (Michael Brown) Beach of Leitchfield, Haleigh (Tyler Love) Beach and Muirgheal Murray, both of New Haven, and Morrigan Murray of Rineyville; her parents, Billy and Glenda Gardner Smith of Elizabethtown; one brother, Timothy “Timmy” Smith of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, Kaidyn Brown and Adalynn Barton; her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Gardner of New Haven; and several aunts and uncles.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Randy Pettus and Bro. Steve Campbell officiating. Burial is in the Union Christian Church Cemetery.

Visitation is noon to 8 p.m Friday, July 26, 2019, and after 9 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019, at the funeral home.

The Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville is in charge of arrangements.
