Obituary: Sharon Fay Blair, 72, Bardstown

Sharon Fay Blair, 72, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born April 6, 1947, in Louisville to the late Charles and Thelma Early Kurtz. She was a former employee of Wee Care Daycare.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, husband Millard Johnson.

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa (Roger) Taylor of Bardstown; one son, Mart (Alta) Kurtz of Elizabethtown; one sister, Becky (Gary) Howell of Austin, Texas; one brother, Tommy (Maryann) Kurtz of Florida; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A non-ceremonial cremation was chosen by the family. The burial is 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

The Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
