Obituary: Cecil Elwood Blair, 78, Boston

Cecil Elwood Blair, 78, of Boston, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was a pipe welder for Jeffboat.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Lee Adams Blair; one son, Carl Edward Blair; and his parents, Ollie and Elsie Elkins Blair.

Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Anne Varner and Susan Marie Blair McCubbins; three sons, Cecil Bruce Blair (Barbie), Carl Edward Blair (Suki) and Kenneth Wayne Blair (Theresa); two sisters, Donna Hughes and Jan Whitaker; two brothers, Donnie Blair and Gary Blair; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, at Trowbridge Funeral Home in Boston with burial to follow in Little Brick Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 20109, noon-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, and after 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, at the funeral home.

Trowbridge Funeral Home in Boston is in charge of the arrangements.
