Obituary: Carol Jean Switzer, 79, Bardstown

Carol Jean Switzer, 79, of Bardstown, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, at her residence. She was born Nov. 19, 1939, in Findlay, Ohio, to the late Leroy and Blanche Breyman Arras. She was a retired accounting supervisor for the United Church Directory and attended Bardstown United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Switzer.

She is survived by one daughter, Terri (Bob) Bruno of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Justin (Jenny) Bruno of Katy, Texas and Shannon (Stephen) Hiance of Cincinnati; and one great-grandson, Noah Hiance.

The family followed her wishes for cremation. There will be a private memorial service at a later date.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
