Obituary: Mary Elizabeth Clark, 93, Bardstown
Mary Elizabeth Clark, 93, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019, at Windsor Gardens. She was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Bardstown. She was a retired bookkeeper for Tom Ballard Co., and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Clark; her parents, William Earl and Stella Burba Ritchie; one sister, Lois Hutchins; and one brother, William Earl Ritchie Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann (Donnie Moore) Clark of Louisville and Jeannie Clark of Bardstown; six sons, Jim (Anna) Clark, Pat (Katie) Clark and Johnny Clark, all of Bardstown, Charlie Clark of Arlington, Va., Paul Clark of Indianapolis, and Fred Clark of Georgetown; one sister, Hazel O’Bryan of Bardstown; nine grandchildren, Angela Clark-Winstead, Michael Clark, Patrick Clark, Frank Clark, John Clark, Stephen Clark, Nathan Clark, Jacob Clark, and Natalie Miller; one great-grandson, Trey Clark-Stillman; and one great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Clark.
The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with the Rev. Terry Bradshaw officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019, and 9-10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019, at the funeral home with a Tuesday evening prayer service.
Memorial contributions may go to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
