Dorothy Case Caudill, 92, Bardstown

Dorothy Case Caudill, 92, formerly of Bardstown, died Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Parkway Medical Center in Louisville.

She was born October 2, 1918, in Bardstown, was a homemaker and a member of the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Her hobbies included reading the Bible, quilting and baking yeast rolls.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glone Caudill; three sons, Glen Caudill, Glone Caudill, Jr. and Gene Caudill; twodaughters, Betty Darlene Caudill and Glona Caudill; her parents, Edgar and Maggie Shuck Case; a brother, Edgar Case, and four sisters, Margaret Brothers, Berthie Harrell, Mona McIntyre and Laura Harrell.

She is survived by two sons, Gerald Caudill of Lebanon Junction and Gary Caudill of Enola, Alaska; a daughter, Donna Caudill of Louisville; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral is noon Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Brother Darrell Goodlett officiating.  Burial will be in the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardsdtown.   Memorial contributions may be made to WHAS Crusade for Children.

Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
