Property taxes on Thursday’s county school board working session agenda

Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019 — The Nelson Country Schools Board of Education will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, at the board’s Central Office, 288 Wildcat Lane in Bardstown.

Items on the board’s agenda for Thursday’s work session include:

• discussions regarding setting the school district’s tax rates;
• discussion of the district’s working budget;
• an update to the district facilities plan;

The board will also review grant applications, hold second reading on policy updates, and a memorandum of agreement between the district and Head Start. The board will also review contracts for the district to hire a board certified behavorial analyst as a consultant.

The board working session begins at 5:30 p.m.
