City of Bardstown’s mosquito fogging program to operate Wednesday

Thursday, Sept. 12, 2018 — The City of Bardstown’s mosquito fogging program is set to continue on upcoming Wednesday evenings.

The next fogging operation is set to run from dusk to dawn on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019. The fogging is designed to kill mosquitoes as long as weather conditions are favorable.

The City also plans fogging for mosquitos on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 and if necessary, Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2019.

During fogging operations, please keep children away from the fogging vehicle, go inside and remain indoors while the fogging vehicle is in your neighborhood. The City will not fog in the areas where residents have indicated health issues or concerns. If you would like to be added to the “No Fog List,” please call Bardstown City Hall, (502) 348-5947.
