Firefighters respond to active fire alarm on Meadowridge Drive
Sunday, July 3, 2011, 2:55 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to the 200 block of Meadowridge Drive, located off Froman Greenwell Road, for an active fire alarm called in by the alarm company. The homeowner called to report that the alarm activated when she opened the door to the attic. The alarm was activated by the attic door striking the alar, there is no fire.
