Obituary: Sue Lee Hood, 92, Chaplin

Sue Lee Hood, 92, of Chaplin, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born May 15, 1927, in Washington County to the late Ivan and Nora Crouch Hood. She was a retired employee of Texas Instruments, and was a member of Brush Grove Baptist Church who loved playing music.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles D. Hood.

She is survived by her cousin, James Everett (Marcella) Hood of Bloomfield.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Everett G. Hood officiating. Burial is in the Evergreen Cemetery in Willisburg.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, at the Houghlin Funeral Home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
