Obituary: Ryan Brady, 28, Bardstown

Ryan Brady, 28, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019, in Nelson County, after a lost battle with drug addiction. He was born June 21, 1991, in Louisville. He was a member of AA, NA, and a chairperson for Recovery On Third.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Terry and Lina Hamilton; and paternal grandfather, Randall Lee Brady Sr.

He is survived by two daughters, Paisley Brady and Journey Brady; one son, Alton Tanner Brady; his mother, Cheryl (John Michael Medley) Boone of Springfield; his stepfather, Artie Boone of Bardstown; his father, Randy (Lisa) Brady Jr. of Springfield; three sisters, Kristin (Nathan) Hall, Gracie Medley, and Victoria Durbin, all of Bardstown; one brother, Dustin Brady; his paternal grandmother, Glenda Sue Thomas of Springfield; a special friend, Mary Beth Mattingly of Bardstown; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, at Barlow Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. The Rev. Rodney Lynch will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, at the funeral home.
