Obituary: Deborah Faye Rust McIntyre, 62, Bardstown

Deborah Faye Rust McIntyre, 62, of Bardstown, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, at her residence. She was born March 7, 1957, in Bardstown. She retired from American Greetings, and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Mary Louise Corbit Rust; one sister, Teresa Hall; and one brother, Buddy Rust.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Tommy McIntyre of Bardstown; one daughter, Nikki (Greg) Smith of Bardstown; two sons, Derik (Mindy) McIntyre and Chad (Brittany) McIntyre, both of Bardstown; five sisters, Judy (John) Crume, Rita (Dana) Grubbs, Lisa (William Kevin) Head, Karen (Allen) Morris, and Cathy Rust and her best friend, Eddie Bryant;
four brothers, Larry Rust, Dennis (Rita Carole) Rust, Don (Cindy) Rust, and Joe (Norma) Rust; five grandchildren, Hailey Smith, Emma Smith, Harper McIntyre, Hattie McIntyre, and Ethan McIntyre; two brothers-in-law, Frank Hall and Johnny McIntyre; one sister-in-law, Patricia (Larry) Cornish; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019,at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Martin officiating.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, and 9-10:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019, at Barlow Funeral Home with a 7 p.m. Wednesday prayer service.will be from 3 till 8 P.M. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 and 9 till 10:15 A.M. Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Barlow Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7 P.M. Wednesday.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
