Obituary: Louise Morris, 87, New Haven

Louise Morris, 87, of New Haven, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, and loved playing bingo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Morris; her parents, William and Ruth Greenwell Bryan; two sisters, Inez Bryan and Barbara Ann Donahue; and one brother, Danny Bryan.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Hillard (Greg); three sons, Ricky Morris, Ronnie “Moose” Morris and Pat (Agnes) Morris; two sisters, Mary Burton and Betty Hardin (Norris); one brother, Edward Bryan (Bernadette); eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019, and after 9 a.m. Monday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven. A prayer vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
