Obituary: Marvin Ray Wilson, 77, Bardstown
Marvin Ray Wilson, 77, of Bardstown, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, at the VA Hospital in Louisville. He was born Feb. 2, 1942, in Greenville, N.C., to the late Lewis and Adell Williams Wilson. He was a former employee of World Color in Illinois and was a former employee at the Bardstown Kroger and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Maron Wilson.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sherry Howard Wilson; four daughters, Tina Wilson and Jennifer Wilson, both of Illinois, Sarah Baker of Louisville, and Irene Baker of Bardstown; one son, William Baker of Brandenburg; one sister, Della Adamek of DesPlains, Ill.; and several grandchildren.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Deacon Sam Filiatreau officiating. Burial is in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at the funeral home.
