Obituary: Phillip Larue Keith, 64, Elizabethtown

Phillip Larue Keith, 64, of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, at his home. He was born Oct. 5, 1956, in Hardin County to the late Walter Steven and Bobbie Sue Atherton Keith. He retired as a program director at WBNA. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Steven Keith; and his grandparents, Bert and Naomi Atherton.

He is survived by one daughter, Kasey Keith of Bedford, Ind.; two sons, Sean Keith of Elizabethtown and Scott Keith of Radcliff; two sisters, Vicky Vaughn of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Sarah Marcrum of Elizabethtown; one brother, Robert Keith of Upton; seven grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel with burial to follow in Red Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at the funeral home.

William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel, 612 N. Lincoln Blvd., Hodgenville, is in charge of arrangements.
