Obituary: Robert Raymond ‘Bobby’ Wright Sr., 75, Lebanon
Robert Raymond “Bobby” Wright Sr., 75, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Oct. 4, 1944, in Marion County. He was a retired employee of Pepsi Company in Lebanon with 31 years of service. He also farmed and served his country in the U. S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Louis and Elva Lee Padgett Wright; one son, Johnny Wright; a number of siblings including Reuben Wright, Larry Wright, Andrew Wright and John Wright, Evelyn Smothers and Susie Catherine Hafley.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Cil Downs Wright; one daughter, Lynn Sallee (Danny) of Calvary; one son, Bobby Wright Jr. (Tinker) of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Jasper Wright, Olivia Wright, Stephan Wright, Tiffaney Sallee and Danny Paul Sallee; four great-grandchildren, Stella Newcomb, Alex Newcomb, Naavalyn Newcomb and Dallas Sallee; and two special friends, Tiffany Baker and David Bickett.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, at Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto with the Rev. Bo Sherrill officiating. Burial is in the Ryder Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, at Mattingly Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Chris Downs, Paul Wright, David Bickett, Chris Bickett, Billy Downs, Gary Wilkerson, Buck Spalding and Michael Bickett. Honorary pallbearers are the grandchildren and Heather Sallee and Jessica Newcomb.
Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
