Obituary: Lenoia Mae ‘Connie’ Smith, 63, Lebanon

Lenoia Mae “Connie” Smith, 63, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, at her home. She was born Oct. 8, 1956, in Owenton. She was a former hospital employee in Cincinnati and member of the Apostolic faith. She was a loving mother and a “granny” and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Smith; her parents, D.R. and Leonia Perry Smith.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Smith of Lebanon; one son, Michael Smith of Lebanon; two step-sons, George Smith of Lebanon and Robert Smith of Louisville; 14 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

The funeral is noon Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto with Pastor Michael J. Johnson of the Bethel Star Apostolic Church officiating. Burial is in the St. Charles Cemetery.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 8, 2019, at the funeral home.

Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
