Obituary: Jewell Raisor, 88, Cox’s Creek

Jewell Raisor, 88, of Cox’s Creek, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019, at her residence. She was born May 28, 1931, in Henry County.

She was preceded in death by her companion, Ernie Spaulding; her parents, Walter and Clara Ward Fink; four sisters, Arletta Popp, Lela Downey, Lucille Parks, and Allie Hazelwood; and four brothers, Howard Fink, Earl Fink, Donnie Fink, and James Fink.

She is survived by one son, Timothy John Raisor of Carrol County; two sisters, Elnora McAllister of Eminence and Ruby Wilhite of Scottsburk, Ind.; one niece, Deb Jones; and special friends, Barbara Roby, Tom Roby and Kimberly Roby.

The graveside service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may go toward her service.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
