Obituary: Gary Dale Chesser, 59, Willisburg

Gary Dale Chesser, 59, of Willisburg, died at 12:51 a.m., Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. He was born in Louisville on Oct. 8, 1960, to the late Namon and Audrey Morris Chesser. He was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church and a graduate of Washington County High School.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Diana Chesser (Sept. 24, 2012) and Deloris Ann Chesser.

He is survived by two brothers, Ronnie Chesser (Carolyn) of Hillview and Ricky Chesser (Martha) of Willisburg; three nieces; two great-nieces; and one great nephew.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, at the Mount Olivet Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Lumbrix, the church pastor, officiating. Burial is in High View Cemetery at Chaplin.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Maurice Wilson, Rudy Gabhart, Donald Thompson, Jerry Royalty, David Carrico and Ashley Boblitt.

Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
