Obituary: Louise Haselwood Douglas 97, Boston

Louise Haselwood Douglas 97, of Boston, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, at Willows of Hamburg in Lexington. She was born in LaRue County on Dec. 20, 1921, to the late Hugh and Sarah Haselwood. She was a member of the Rolling Fork Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William Douglas.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy (Joel) Schoolar of Paris; one son, Tom Douglas of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one niece, Karen Gunning Burns; one sister-in-law Emma Haselwood; one granddaughter, Hillary Murphy (Fran) of Burke, Va., and two great-grandchildren, Emma Louise and Francis Xavier.

Graveside services ae 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at Hardin Memorial Park, 1000 N. Miles St., Elizabethtown. The family requests no flowers. Friends and family welcome to attend.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home New Haven Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
