Obituary: Shelby Jean Anderson, 81, formerly of Bloomfield
Shelby Jean Anderson, 81, of Salvisa, formerly of Bloomfield, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was born Aug. 24, 1938, in Bloomfield to the late W.B. and Louise Stewart Robinson. She was a retired apartment manager, attended Bloomfield Christian Church Disciples of Christ and loved watching TV, talking and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Chad Anderson; one sister, Ruby Armstrong; and one brother, Charles A. Robinson.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Anderson of Salvisa; one son, Todd Anderson of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Dorothy Kidwell and Connie Robinson, both of Louisville; one brother, Bob (Vicki) Robinson of Bloomfield; four grandchildren, Jessica, Austin, Glenda and Melissa; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Waylon.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Bobby Olliges officiating. Burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2019.
The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
