Obituary: Brenda Faye Wood, 69, Bloomfield

Brenda Faye Wood, 69, of Bloomfield, formerly of Taylorsville, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born Sept. 25, 1950, to the late Elmo and Dorothy Bruner Price. She was a member of the Open Door Christian Center and a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Jewell of Elizabethtown; two sons, Doug (Rebecca) Hardin of Lawrenceburg and Dwayne (Linda) Hardin of Mount Washington; two sisters, Ruth Porter of Shelbyville and Doris Jean (Richard) Sharp-Thackston of Mount Washington; one brother, B.F. (Mary) Price of Mount Washington; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville with Sister Mavis Bennett officiating. Burial is in the Valley Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville.
