Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019 — There will be no driving tests offered at the Nelson Circuit Court Clerk’s office on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019, which is Inauguration Day. According to Circuit Court Clerk Diane Thompson, the day has been declared a state holiday. The Division of Driver’s License has advised it will be closed, and the Kentucky State Police has advised it will not provide instructors to administer driver license written or road tests that day.

However, the Nelson County Justice Center, the circuit court clerk, and the scheduled courts will be open for court-related business only that day.
