Obituary: Daniel Wayne ‘Danny’ Spalding, 66, Bardstown

Daniel Wayne “Danny” Spalding, 66, of Bardstown, died Dec. 3, 2019, at his residence. He was born Nov. 7, 1953, in Bardstown to the late Adrian and Margaret Mattingly Spalding. He was a former self-employed roofer.

He is survived by his daughter, Danielle (Chris Taylor) Spalding of Bardstown; two sisters, Wanda Stone and Helen Lyvers, both of Bardstown; three brothers, Charles “Ricky” Spalding of Balltown, Willie Spalding and Robert Spalding, both of Bardstown; and four grandchildren, Kalie Taylor, Hailey Taylor, Brodi Taylor and Payton Taylor.

The family honored his wishes for cremation and a private service will be held at a later date.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
