Bardstown man arrested Monday on charges of mail theft, identity theft

Monday, Dec. 9, 2019 — A Bardstown man faces identity theft and mail theft charges following an investigation and search warrant executed Monday at a home at 147 Robin Drive in Bardstown.

Nelson County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Brandon Bryan and Reece Riley, with the help of patrol deputies and Sheriff Ramon Pineiroa, conducted the search in connection with a mail theft investigation.
Officers arrested John Thomas Bradshaw Monday on four counts of theft of mail matter, two counts of first-degree forgery, and one count of identity theft.
The investigation continues and more charges are expected.
Bradshaw was lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
