Obituary: Anna Lee Thompson, 87, Bardstown

Anna Lee Thompson, 87, of Bardstown, formerly of Mount Washington, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019. She was a native of Paducah, a member of the Sweet Adelines Pride of KY Chapter for 20 years, a former owner of Thompson Custom Cabinets in Mount Washington and a member of Eastland Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Jessie Thompson; her parents, Cecil and Nellie Downs; three sisters; and two brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Jo Lynn Scott (Dennis); two sons, Terry Thompson (Susan) and Dale Thompson; four grandchildren, Dax Scott (Angela), Heather Thomas (Kurtis), Amber Thompson and Andrea Scott; and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2019, at Schmid Funeral Home in Mount Washington with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2019, at the funeral home.

The Schmid Funeral Home in Mount Washington is in charge of arrangements.
