Northeast Nelson Fire responds to tractor-trailer fire on BG Parkway
Thursday, July 7, 2011, 11:17 p.m. — The Northeast Nelson Fire Department was called to a fire under the rear axle of a flatbed tract0r- trailer rig at the 35 mile marker of the Blue Grass Parkway. Firefighters extinguished the fire, but stayed on the scene because of additional hot spots; the trailer was carrying paving equipment.
