Mary Joyce Parrish, 67, formerly of Bardstown

Mary Joyce Parrish, 67, formally of Bardstown, died Thursday July 7, 2011, in Washington Court House, Ohio.  She was born December 15, 1943, in Woodlawn, and was a member of Woodlawn Beechfork United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Hark Parrish; and two sisters, Barbara Cheatham and Helen Gritton.

She is survived by six sisters, Kathleen Pile of Woodlawn, Betty Hill of Bardstown, Sue Parrish of Woodlawn, Doris Calhoun, Debbie Cissell of Bardstown, and Juanita Deckel of Louisville; a brother, Hark Parrish Jr. of Woodlawn; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Poplar Flat Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10:30 am to 2 pm Saturday at Barlow Funeral Home.
