Gazette will be tweeting tax vote from tonight’s city council meeting

Tuesday, July 12, 2011 9:25 a.m. — Follow the Bardstown City Council’s vote on the occupational tax by following us on Twitter!

The council will consider the second reading of the occupational tax ordinance that will double the amount of revenue it generates for the city’s general fund. Gazette Editor Jim Brooks will be tweeting from the council chambers with the council’s vote to approve or, turn down or modify the current occupational tax proposal.
