Local, state police capture man who fled KSP custody along US31E

Friday, July 15, 2011, 2:30 p.m. — Kentucky State Police troopers and two Nelson County sheriff’s deputies are out on foot trying to locate a subject who fled KSP on foot on the old section of US31E, Louisville Road. Officers are out about the 6500 block of Louisville Road on foot searching for the man, who was described wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans.

3:11 p.m. — The subject sought by police was captured and arrested by KSP. He is being lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
