Marcia Jean Vaughn, 62, of Lebanon

Marcia Jean Vaughn, 62, of Lebanon passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

She was born August 14, 1948, in Marion County and was a former childcare provider and caregiver.  She attended Adult Active Day of Campbellsville and was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Calvary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lawrence and Florine Elizabeth Buckman Vaughn.

Survivors include four sisters, Joyce (Larry) Caldwell of Calvary, Betty (Danny) Wright of Lebanon, Karen (Dennie) Moore of Campbellsville and Valerie Mattingly (David Taylor) of Lebanon;  four brothers, Joseph “Joe” (Lea) Vaughn, Larry (Zita) Vaughn, Mark (Jennifer) Vaughn, all of Finley and Johnie (Karen) Vaughn of Raywick; 19 nieces and nephews and a number of great-nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2011, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Calvary, with interment in the St. Joe Cemetery.  The Rev. Gerald Bell will be the celebrant.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Memorial donations may go toward Saint Joe Community Center, c/o Frank Reynolds,300 Clear Creek Rd., Raywick, Ky. 40060

Pallbearers are nephews, Darby Vaughn, Jon Wright, Andy Wright, Brandon Mattingly, B.J. Mattingly, Brian Vaughn, Jeremy Vaughn, Bradley Vaughn, Jared Vaughn and Logan Vaughn. Honorary Pallbearers are nieces, Miranda Robbins, Carrie Masterson, Lara Bland, Christie Sharp, Amy Wright, Angie Bright, Joy Young, Kayla Moore and Laura Garrett
