Man crashes cycle while popping wheelie on W. Stephen Foster
Wednesday, July 20, 2011, 2:34 p.m. — A 26-year-old man was injured Wednesday afternoon about 2:30 when he was popping a wheelie on his motorcycle and lost control of his bike. The accident happened in the 300 block of West Stephen Foster Avenue in front of the Basilica of St. Joseph Prot0-Cathedral. The man laid the bike over and he suffered a cut to the head and road rash. He was not wearing a helmet. The man was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital by Nelson County EMS for treatment of his injuries. Bardstown Police investigated the accident.
