Nelson County Fair baby, tiny tot contests moved to Samuels Hall

Thursday, July 21, 2011, 1 p.m. — Contest organizers announced Thursday the Nelson County Fair Baby Contest and Tiny Tot Contests will be moved to air-conditioned Samuels Hall at the fairgrounds.

The fair’s Baby Contest begins 6 p.m. Thursday in Samuels Hall. The Tiny Tot Contest is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, july 22. Both events originally were scheduled for the fair’s grandstand.

The fair runs through Saturday. The gates open today and Friday at 5 p.m.
