Parking lot doughnut-makers keeping city, county officers busy

Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, 2:05 p.m. — Drivers who decide to take advantage of the slick parking lots for some doughnut-making fun are attracting the ire of Bloomfield and Bardstown residents. Police have been called to an apartment complex on Harding Street and to the Bloomfield Elementary School with complaints of drivers getting squirrelly in their parking lots sliding around and cutting doughnuts. A caller on Harding Street was concerned a parked vehicle at the apartments might be struck by an out-of-control driver.
