Police investigate 12-year-old boy reportedly walking alone in the rain

Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, 10:42 p.m. — City police are responding to the area of Lowe’s parking lot near the KY245/US150 intersection to investigate a report of a 12-year-old boy who was alone and walking in the rain. The boy was described as a white male wearing a blue coat and a backpack. The caller asked police to check on the boy’s welfare as it appeared he had been walking in the rain for some time. Police caught up with the boy near Chili’s restaurant, and took him to an address on Sixth Street.
