Inclement weather forces delays, cancellations for garbage pickup routes

Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022 — Garbage pickup in the Maple Hill and Edgewood subdivisions was called today, and the city plans to run those routes tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 unless another cancelation is called Friday due to weather.

The city asks residents to have their garbage cans curbsite by 7 a.m.

COUNTY GARBAGE PICKUP CANCELED FRIDAY. John Greenwell, director of the county’s solid waste collection, has canceled garbage pickup in the county for Friday, Jan. 7, 2022.

Garbage pickup will resume on Monday, Jan. 10, 2022.
