Martha Louise Medley, 73, Loretto

Martha Louise Medley, 73, of Loretto, passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

MARTHA LOUISE MEDLEY

Born January 26, 1938, she was a native of Washington County, a former childcare provider and member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in St. Francis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Darryl Medley; her parents, Walter Edward and Mary Ora Mattingly Osbourne; two sisters, Willie Catherine Thomas and Minnie Lee Osbourne; and three brothers, Kennebeck, Tom and Poodle Osbourne.

Survivors include her daughter, Tracy (Joe) Masterson of Loretto; two sons, Tim and Kevin (Amanda) Medley, all of Loretto;  one sister, Doretha (Johnny) Simpson of Springfield; one brother, Johnny (Helen) Osbourne of Springfield; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and one great-granddaughter,

A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, St. Francis, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle will be the celebrant.

Visitation is 3-9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 5 p.m.
