Bardstown musician to perform Sunday at Kentucky State Fair

Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, 2 p.m. — Bardstown resident and Christian musician Matthew Fogle will perform at the Kentucky State Fair this weekend.

Fogle’s concert is set for 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21 at the Young Adult Project (YAP) tent near the Fair & Exposition Center’s West Wing and Broadbent Arena. Admission to the concert is free to all fairgoers. Admission to the Kentucky State Fair is $10 for adults, $6 for children and seniors and free for children age 2 and under.

Fogle plays a mixture of Christian rock and worship music along with mainstream favorites from the past. He has been playing this summer in various settings, including the Ichthus Festival in Wilmore, the Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, Ill., and the Objective Conference in Nashville.
