Firefighters called to Glenview Drive after stove smokes up home

Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, 8:22 p.m. –– The Bardstown Fire Department responded to 111 Glenview Drive for an active fire alarm called in by the alarm company. A deputy sheriff on scene reported that the alarm was activated by the stove; it turns out the smoke was generated by the stove’s cleaning cycle. Firefighters move the stove out of the home and removed the smoke from the home.
