Teen injured in baseball game at Dean Watts Park

Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, 1:40 p.m. — A 15-year-old baseball player was injured at the Bethlehem baseball field at Dean Watts Park when he slid into a wall and hit his head. EMTs said the boy said he lots consciousness after the impact. EMTs said the teen had a bruise on his face and complained of  facial pain. Nelson County EMS transported the teen to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment. The call to dispatch came in about 1:15 p.m.
