Fire department responds to active fire alarm at Flaget Hospital

Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, 12:52 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to Flaget Memorial Hospital xxxxx New Shepherdsville Road, for an active fire alarm called in by the alarm company. The alarm company reported the activation was on the first floor.

1:05 a.m. — Firefighters determine the alarm was caused by an accidental activation of a detector by employees cleaning near the detector. The alarm has reset and firefighters are leaving the scene.
