Joseph David ‘Joe David’ Humphrey, 39, Loretto

Joseph David “Joe David” Humphrey, 39, of Loretto, passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, at his residence.

Born Sept. 16, 1971, in Marion County, he worked as an engineer with Kentucky Cooperage in Lebanon.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Humphrey, his stepfather, Dean Bruner and his grandparents, Tom and Gladys Humphrey.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Snelling Humphrey; two sons, Dylan (Natasha) Humphrey of Lebanon and Dustin Humphrey at home; a sister, Lisa Marie (Bobby) Williams of Schaumburg, Ill.; a stepbrother, Steven Bruner of Jeffersonville, Ind.; his mother, Linda Hutchins Bruner of Loretto; his father, Tom Humphrey of Thailand; and his grandparents, Archie and Marie Hutchins of Loretto.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery.  Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate.

Visitation is 3-9 p.m. Sunday with a prayer service at 7 p.m. by Pastor Jim Calvert.

Pallbearers are Steven Bruner, Timmy Nifong, Johnny Lee, Benji Lee, Michael John Luckett, Derek Baker, Steven Thomas, Jeremy Kelly and Adam Wood. Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy Blandford, Jimmy Garrett, Jo Jo Overstreet, Ramey Morris, Zachery Morris, Raven Blandford, Brandon Blandford, Austin Trich, Tyler Trich, Zachary Garrett, Lauren Garrett, Bryan Wheatley, Timmy Glazer and Jeremy Tharp
