Bardstown Police chief is next guest on WBRT’s ‘Brooks & Company’ program

Monday, Aug. 29, 2011 — Rick McCubbin, chief of the Bardstown Police Department, will be the guest on Tuesday’s edition of  1320 WBRT’s “Brooks & Company” program.

One of the topics McCubbin will discuss in the studio with host Jim Brooks is his decision to curtail the use of on-duty city police officers to provide funeral escorts inside the city limits. McCubbin sent a letter to local media on Friday, Aug. 26, providing additional details regarding his decision (click here to read McCubbin’s letter as published by the Gazette).

Chief McCubbin will also talk about his tenure as Bardstown’s chief of police, the department’s new website and the work the officers have done in response to citizen input.
