BASEBALL: Over 45 baseball league seeking players for a Nelson County team

Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023 — The Central Kentucky Adult Baseball Association is currently recruiting Over 45 adult baseball teams in Nelson and adjoining counties.

According to Jody Bingham, president of the league, a team in Nelson County is already forming and is need of additional players. The team’s tentative name is the Bardstown Yankees, he said.

The league games will be played during the months of June, July and August 2023. The games will be played at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thurrsdays at Elizabethtown Sports Park. The park features an artificial turf infield and is in excellent condition.
