Letter: Thanks to Salt River crews who restored power outages

To the editor,

Just wanted to give a shout-out to the contractors for Salt River RECC. Very windy day today and apparently several trees and power lines down in the area.
Had a tree go across the lines and the road about 3:15 p.m. today on Lutheran Church Road.

The Nelson County Sheriff’s Department came and blocked the road, the Nelson County Road Department came out to cut up the tree, and contractors for RECC came and put the lines back up and replaced any transformers that needed it.

Job well done by all parties involved and a hearty Thank You!
