Obituary: June Elise Adams, 92, Bardstown

June Elise Adams, 92, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at Landmark of Bardstown. She was born July 3, 1930, in Louisville, to the late Joseph L. and Sarah Louise Adams. She was a retired social worker, last working for Seven Counties, and was a member of Hurstbourne Baptist Church.

She is survived by one sister, Billie Joyce Simpson; one sister-in-law, Alice Jean Adams; and five nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen. A celebration of her life is 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.

Visitation is 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at the funeral home.

The McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington is in charge of arrangements.
