Obituary: Ronnie Jackson, 77, Cox’s Creek

Ronnie Jackson, 77, of Cox’s Creek, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at his home. He was born May 4, 1945, in Louisville to the late Ernest “Piggy” and Dorothy Mae Powers Jackson. He was retired from LG&E and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and his family with all his heart. He loved his little dog Leo T. more than words can explain. He was a lifetime UK Wildcat fan, even when they were on a losing streak.. He enjoyed traveling, whether it be going to Florida or finding out-of-the-way places to enjoy a good meal with good company. He was a simple man, finding pleasure in the small things of life. He was a very intelligent, loyal, thoughtful man who gave all he could to all those he loved. He is now rejoicing in Heaven, embracing loved ones who have gone before, including his dog Lexi, waiting to greet us when we come Home.
