Obituary: Mary Jeanette Elmore, 71, Somerset

Mary Jeanette Elmore, 71, of Somerset, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, at Oakwood Residential Facility. She was born Feb. 25, 1951, in Louisville to the late Harold Edward and Carmel Cecil Elmore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bruce Elmore, Gerald Elmore and James Robert “Bob” Elmore.

She is survived by one sister, Therese Johnson of Bardstown; one brother, John Curtis (Harriet) Elmore of Bardstown; four nieces; and two nephews.

The funeral is private. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to St. Vincent DePaul Mission Store.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
